Start Blogging!

Hi there!

Express yourself with your own blog and monetize it!

Why your own blog? Can’t it just be the free hosted blogs such as blogger, blogspot or wordpress.com? The answer is yes you can pick your own domain name and host it at one of the free hosting sites above but by doing so you never have a full control and authority over your own blog. As your blogs getting aged they will have more visitors and hopefully more money created. What will happen if the free hosting sites terminate your account? It happened frequently to a lot of free bloggers with no clear reasons and they really couldn’t do anything to protect themselves because the said hosting sites have the rights to do so. You wouldn’t like to lose your hard work and start from all over again especially if your blogs have earned the Google Page Rank already.

If you are serious about blogging I highly recommend HostGator. All of my blogs are hosted by HostGator and I’ve so far never had any down time problems. With less than 8 bucks a month you can host as many domain as you want – I currently have around 10 active blogs – no extra money asked.

I bought my domain names at dynadot.com but there are lots of other domain companies available.

Once you built your own blog you’ll need to attract the visitors. Blogs without visitors are losers. One of the best ways to get some high quality visitors is by visiting forums related to your blog’s niche and leave some valuable comments there. You’ll need to leave a link to your blog as part of your comment – normally at the signature section or in the post body itself if permitted – so people joining the forum can visit your blog. Google loves to see other websites or blogs linking to your blog as they increase your blog’s authority and these links are highly related to your ranking in the search engines, name it Google, Bing, Yahoo or any other search engines. To find a good list of high ranked forums you can find it here.
