What is the difference between electric guitar strings, classical guitar strings and acoustic guitar strings? Basically they should follow the same guitar tuning standard which has been explained above. What make the differences are the guitar strings materials and the guitar string gauges. Classical guitars for example have thicker strings compared to the electric and acoustic guitar strings, and are made of nylon.
